DivX for Windows (incl. DivX Player) 6.8

DivX for Windows includes the DivX Codec, the DivX Player and the DivX Web Player as well as 15-day trials of the DivX Converter and the DivX Pro Codec. All components are free and no adware is included in the package.

The DivX Codec allows the creation of videos at resolutions up to and including 1920 x 1080 high definition in either interlaced or progressive-scan. The DivX Codec extends DivX playback support to all popular media players.

The DivX Player is optimized to play every DivX file with full support for DVD-like features including scene selection menus, chapters, multiple subtitles, video tags and alternate audio tracks. The DivX Player includes a download manager that allows you to download multiple videos, pause and resume downloads and progressively play back video as well as playlists, a media manager and a burn-to-disc feature for creating DivX discs from within the player. The latest DivX Player also includes a free 30-day trial of the DFX Audio Enhancer, a plug-in which can drastically improve the quality of your DivX video soundtracks at the click of a button.

This package supports English, French, German, Spanish and Japanese languages.
