Checkmate MP3 Checker will scan MP3 files and has a Explorer-like display that shows which files where scanned Checkmate is a set of programs that scan MP3s. It scans the file to see if the frames are where they are supposed to be, if the frame headers are correct and if the headers are consistent throughout the file. It gives some statistics on the file, and a conclusion whether the file is good or bad. It is used from the command prompt.
Checkmate mpck is the core that does the actual scanning. It can be used on the command line on both Linux and Windows.
Checkmate MP3 checker is a Microsoft Windows interface for mpck.Checkmate MP3 Checker will scan MP3 files and has a Explorer-like display that shows which files where scanned and what the result was. Wimpck was tested on Windows 2000 and should work on any Windows version.
