foobar2000 0.9.6.5 Beta 2 is an advanced audio player for the Windows platform, which offers ome of the basic features such as full unicode support, ReplayGain support and native support for several popular audio formats.

FB2000 uses a plain and simple UI - no skins, no fuss. Filesize is 200 kb, while in playback mode the player approximately consumes 1.9 Mbyte of your RAM which is so much less compared to Winamp or MS Media Player.

Enhancements:

  • Online troubleshooter feature, accessible from the Help menu.
  • Fixed: Album List was being compiled with all optimizations disabled until now, since at least 0.9.5, due to bugs in MSVC9.
  • Various improvements to the crash report submission system.
  • Fixed an obscure bug in the ABX component.
  • Fixed a crash when trying to open a lossy WavPack3 file.
  • Fixed a crash when decoding certain corrupted AAC files.
  • Built-in album art viewer can now view artist pictures (embedded in tags and artist.jpg in the same folder).
