ISO Recorder (Windows XP/2003 Server 64-bit) 2 description
ISO Recorder (Windows XP/2003) Server (64-bit) 2 provides a powerful tool for users. It is a tool that allows (depending on the Windows version) to burn CD and DVD images, copy disks, make images of the existing data CDs and DVDs and create ISO images from a content of a disk folder.
ISO Recorder has been conceived during Windows XP beta program, when Microsoft for the first time started distributing new OS builds as ISO images. Even though the new OS had CD-burning support (by Roxio), it did not have an ability to record an image. ISO Recorder has filled this need and has been one of the popular Windows downloads ever since.
Major features:
1.Server 2003 supported.
2.Using ISO Recorder does not require administrator rights
3.Supports erasing disks (RW) and "really erasing" disks. After a certain amount of use a CD-RW disk stops working. Fully erasing it most of the time will make it possible to use it again
4.Detects media changes - no need to close it and reopen if the disk was inserted while it was running.
5.Does not block the shell window from which it has been launched.
6.Does not run in the context of the shell process.
7.Can be used to create an ISO image from the contents of a directory.
