Larynx is a speech server and announcement system for Windows.
Larynx accepts announcements via email or the command line, and audibly announces them and displays them on screen.
Originally designed for alert announcements within a Network Operation Center (NOC), Larynx has also proven itself to be an effective replacement for PA systems within small businesses, as well as an excellent tool for any situation in which automatic text to speech capabilities are required.
* Configure an unlimited number of POP3 accounts for input.
* Manually insert announcement entries via the command line.
* Use Highlights to match string patterns within announcements and color them on screen.
* Maintains a complete history of announcements for later reference.
