MP3 Compilation Creator lets you create MP3 compilations and catalogue all MP3s stored on your hard disk, easily and quickly.
User interface is plain and simple, allowing you to perform actions in the fastest and most efficient way. Everything is visible in main window. There are no unnecessary commands, options, or graphical details, so you dont have to be a computer wizard to know how to use the program!
Compiling an MP3-CD/DVD can be really frustrating and longlasting task if you use standard CD/DVD burning software (e.g. Nero), because you cannot import or drag M3U playlist into MP3-compilation, like when you make an audio-CD. The only way is to add MP3s to your MP3-compilation one by one from file browser.
Suppose you have M3U playlist with 140 songs, and you want to burn these songs onto a CD in same order as they exist in the playlist. You will spend hours until you finish making your compilation, and you will not be able to order MP3s the way you want, because they are always sorted alphabetically by default.
With MP3 Compilation Creator creating an MP3 compilation from this example is a piece of cake! All you have to do is: open the MP3 Compilation Creator, click on Add Playlist, select a playlist, click on Prepare for Burning, and you are done!!! Your compilation will be automatically created in selected directory. Now, just burn this directory onto CD using your favourite CD burning software! Thats it! It couldnt be easier! The songs will be burned and played on your CD in exact order as in your M3U playlist!
You can catalogue all MP3s stored on your hard disk by simple click on Scan Disc. You can view MP3s in simple list, sort them by title or by folders, search by title/folder, or fast locate by pressing the first letter of title. You can drag MP3s from catalogue or from Windows Explorer onto compilation. You can export your MP3 catalogue to a text file, and send it to your friends etc.
Main features:
- You can catalogue all MP3s stored on your hard disk and other media by simple click on the button "Scan Disc"
- You can view all your MP3s in simple catalogue, sort them by title or by folders, search them by title/folder, or fast locate by pressing the first letter of title
- You can export your MP3 catalogue to a text file, so you can send it to your friends (text file is tab delimited, so it can be opened in Excel as well)
- You can create MP3 compilations by dragging MP3s from the catalogue or from Windows Explorer to the compilation list, and by moving/sorting MP3s in compilation to arrange desired play order.
- You can add directories to the compilation by clicking on "Add Dir" (adding directory means adding all mp3s from selected directory; optionally you can include subdirectories)
- You can drag folders from catalogue to compilation (catalogue must be sorted by folders to see the folders in catalogue list)
- You can add a Winamp playlists to the compilation by clicking on "Add Playlist" (adding playlist means adding all mp3s from selected m3u playlist in the same order)
- You can play MP3s by double-clicking them
- You can prepare compilation for burning on CD/DVD by clicking on "Prepare for Burning". Compilation will be automatically prepared for burning in temporary directory (program will tell you which directory is that). The play order of the songs will be preserved! All you have to do is to burn this directory onto CD/DVD using your burning software (e.g. Nero). After burning you can delete this directory. Please, read FAQ for more info.
- MP3 Compilation Creator is especially convinient for sharing MP3s with your friends. For example, if your friend asks you to burn him all MP3s from group "Abba", you just click on "Search", type "Abba" in field "Title", click OK and catalogue will show you only MP3s which contain "Abba" in their filenames. Then you drag Abbas MP3s to compilation, click on "Prepare for burning", and burn the compilation in some CD-burner.
