NewBlue Production Tools 1.1a description
NewBlue Production Tools is a collection of 11 must-have plug-ins designed to boost the performance and clarity of your soundtrack.
NewBlue Production Tools VST-compatible plugins offer a wide range of easy-to-use solutions for improving and enhancing the sound of your video production.
Main features:
- Bass Boost
Emphasize the low tones in your production without overloading the sound.
- Compactor
Provide audio compression, raising the signal level of quiet sounds, making the overall sound level more uniform. This is very useful for correcting wildly fluctuating sound levels.
- Crisper
Emphasize the high end of the sound, without overloading the sound. Crisper is a wonderful tool for adding a bright edge to an otherwise dull audio clip.
- Expander
Increase the dynamic range of the sound. With expansion, loud sounds stay at full level while quiet sounds become even quieter, increasing the dynamic range.
- Monofier
Reduce a stereophonic sound to a monophonic one, then position it at a specific point in the stereo spectrum. This is useful for sounds that simply shouldnt be coming from a stereo source, such as sound emanating from a TV or speakerphone in a scene.
- Sharpener
Enhance your sound in one easy pass. It brightens and compresses it while reducing noise. This can add life to the recording and is particularly useful for dialogue.
- Stereoizer
Transform dull tracks that lack stereo imaging and expand them stereophonically.
- Dual Compressor
Divide the audio spectrum into high and low, then run an independent compressor on each half. This is useful when applying isolated compression effects within either the upper or lower frequencies.
- Tone Compressor
Apply audio compression to a specific range within the audio spectrum, useful for compression effects specific to a portion of the sound. For example, it can be advantageous to compress dialogue, which is typically mid range, while disregarding the remainder, so that low level environmental sounds arent amplified.
- Dual Expander
Divide the audio spectrum in two (high and low), then run an independent expander on each half. This provides isolated expansion effects within the upper or lower frequencies.
- Tone Expander
Apply audio expansion techniques to a specific range within the audio spectrum. This is great for expansion effects that need to stay isolated to a portion of the sound. For example, expanding the high end keeps intended sounds bright and at full strength while reducing background hiss.
