Stream transcoder can transcode a Shoutcast/Icecast stream (mp3/ogg vorbis) into any stream types that oddcast supports Stream transcoder is a program (win32 UI/unix command line/win32 service) that can transcode a Shoutcast/Icecast stream (mp3/ogg vorbis) into any stream types that oddcast supports.
STV3 will only accept in MP3 or OggVorbis streams on input. These streams can be transcoded into any format supported by oddcastV3 and be sent to any server supported by oddcastv3. ST also uses the same encoding engine as oddcastv3, and thus the config files are interchangable.
Auto-reconnection (both on the source and destination server) is enable on by default as most people use STv3 in a "hands-off"-type setup.
