Streamripper for Winamp 2 & 5 1.63.5

Streamripper is an open-source (GPL) plug-in for Winamp 2.x & 5.x that connects to streaming MP3 servers such as Shoutcast and records the tracks to your hard drive as individual files. Now its very easy to save stream content !
With the emergence of file-sharing protocols such as Napster and Gnutella, the average Internet user can download nearly any MP3 file quickly and easily. Streamripper, however, allows you to download an entire station of music from the Internet.
After installation this plug-in can be activated in the preferences menu of your Winamp player.
This is the quick and dirty HOWTO for the Winamp plug-in of Streamripper.
The following steps should get you going to ripping a stream.
1. Go to shoutcast.com and click on a stream
2. The stream should be playing in Winamp, if its not, click play. On the top of Streamripper you should notice it says like "Press start to rip http://something:port"
3. Click "start"; hope it works.
If you dont have a fat pipe (cable modem/dsl, T1, etc.) youll want to use Streamripper "relay server". If you dont use this Streamripper will make another connection to the stream your listening too, effectively doubling your bandwidth usage. This is a feature that allows you to listen to the stream youre ripping through Streamripper.
To listen through Streamripper relay function click on the box labeled "RLY", Streamripper will add an entry to your playlist. Click on that to listen through the relay.
