Using third-party software you can even take movies you've made and turn them into DVDs.

Major Features:

1. Main Interface - use to merge video files, set background music, add effects or transition effects, compile project to AVI, MPG, MOV, WMV or Animated GIF. The main interface of Video Complier is the "guts" of the software. This is where you can merge files, add effects or transitions, add images, add an overlay image or text to your video project: use to compile/ save to several different file formats (AVI, MPEG, MOV, WMV or Animated GIF). You can also access any/ all the specialized tools, that are included, via the "Tools" menu.

2. Audio Editor - edit or record audio files that can be used for the background music of your video. Add effects, delete portions and way more. This is a complete audio editor with many advanced features. This is a full blown audio editor/ recorder that is offered as a tool to create background music, for your videos, or to use for any other purpose. This tool is almost an exact clone (without the advanced tools) of our popular "Audio Solution PRO" audio editor software application. We have created many tutorial videos to explain and show it's functions:

3. AVI Maker - create an AVI video file from a folder full of images. Load into the main interface to add background music or effects: save to AVI, MPEG, MOV, WMV or Animated GIF.

This is a very simple to use tool that converts single images (pictures), that are located within a folder, into an AVI Video file. It guides you step by step using a wizard type interface. Just follow the instructions - there's nothing to it!

TIPS:

• it is advisable to have all the images the same size. Use what ever photo/ image editor you may have to accomplish this.

• after creation of your AVI video you can load it into the main interface to add background music to the video then save in what ever file format supported. 

4. Conversion tools:These set of conversion tools (activated via the "Tools" menu of the main interface) allows you to convert most any format of video to and from flash as well as to extract the audio from a video. Simply select what file to convert then give it a target path to save the converted file to.

5. Video Cutter Tool - use to split/ cut videos. This tool allows you to easily select and cut a section from a video and save as an AVI video file.

How to use:

• load a file into the software via the "..." button

• play/ view the file via the "Play" button

• at any time you want to start or end your "cut" click that particular button to set a "marker" point.

• click the "Cut it..." button to finish.

6. Screen Recorder - use to record (to video) every action of the system screen. Use to create tutorial videos for the classroom or software support. Screen Recorder is a tool used for recording screen activity into standard AVI video files that can be converted or played within any Microsoft Media Player or streamed off a web site. If you move the cursor, launch a new program, type some text, click a few buttons, or select some menus -- anything that you see on your screen – Screen Recorder will be able to record and allow you to play them back later on. And that's not all! Record from the microphone (or any record device supported by your sound card - i.e. speaker output, line-in, stereo mix, etc.), as you record the video, to have your audio instructions or background music / audio embedded within the video

7. Video Players - supports AVI, FLV, MPG, MOV, MP4, MPEG, MVB and WMV files. The combination of these two video players give you the option to play most any popular video format. The main video player (top screen shot) does not play flash (flv or swf) files: the flash player does. The main player offers an option to capture any video frame to an image. Just click the "Capture Image" button of your choice and it will save that frame to an image file.

8. Web Cam Capture - record a web cam video. This tool will take and save a snapshot of what your web cam "sees". Merely click the "Click" button: a message will appear to guide you to the next "click" to take your picture. Saved to BMP image format.

9. Web Cam Snap-Shot Taker - save a snap shot *(image) from your Web Cam Recorder. This tool will take and save a snapshot of what your web cam "sees". Merely click the "Click" button: a message will appear to guide you to the next "click" to take your picture. Saved to BMP image format.

Requirements:

• Windows XP or Vista
• A sound card
• Direct X v8+ (you'll most likely have these files all ready installed)
• Quick Time Runtime files if you want to deal with these type (MOV) files.
