17. ODBC / OLE DB / Native DB2 / Native Informix / Native Oracle / Native SQL Server / Native Sybase - product wide support
    • In version 1 it supported ODBC for the preview viewer and the data source wizard.
    • As of version 2, it is greatly expanded connectivity support.
    • Now when enabling the preview viewer and making a connection to a database, you'll be prompted to enter a user id and password if necessary on all supported connectivity methods. For connectivity methods that require specifying more information then just a user id and password (OLE DB and Native drivers), it completely supports this too.
18. Drag and Group
    • Originally introduced in version 1, patent pending technology allows you to quickly and easily analyze properties across objects and reports.
    • Drag and Group is the concept of selecting item(s) in the Objects pane, and dragging one or more properties from the Property pane down to the Objects pane (to any grid on any tab) to create a new column. Then right clicking on the column header and selectinggroup by object name (where the object name is the name of the column; i.e. font; font color, formula, etc.). The result is a pivot view.
    • And as of version 2, it is further optimized performance on grouping and moving items within the groupings (top / bottom / up one / down one). Plus it is exposed the grouping level color configuration and added support for auto-refresh of groupings.
19. Dockable and Floatable window panes and menus
    • All windowpanes and menus dockable and floatable. This gives you ultimate control of the user interface to customize as you see fit. Many editors (text, formulas, parameters, etc.) have also support docking.
20.  Customizable layouts
    • With dockable and floatable window panes and menus, you'll want to customize the layout that suits you best. So it gives you the ability to save a virtually unlimited number of customizable layouts that you can quickly and easily switch to on the fly. But don't worry. It's easy to return back to the default layout at anytime.

• [Objects Pane - ALL TABS] - Fixed issue with Export tExcel in certain cases resulting in "#VALUE!" / invalid values in cells.
• [Wizards - Change data source / database] - Added support of DA(Data Access Object) connectivity for Access and Excel tsupported destinations. Listed in the wizard as "Access/Excel (DAO)" in the list of available destinations (on page 3 of the wizard).
• [TOOLS|OPTIONS - Misc] - Added option t"Use Schema Nodes in Database Wizard". Defaults tenabled. Necessary when working with destination connections which have same named tables in multiple schemas -- in which case you must select the schema name, not just the connection in the wizard.
• [Wizards - Change data source / database] - Added new child node tdestination connection. If "Use Schema Nodes in Database Wizard" is enabled in "TOOLS|OPTIONS - Misc", and if the destination connection type supports schemas, then you will see listed under the destination connection node (as a child node) the schema (on page 3 of the wizard). In which case you must now select the schema in the destination connection before the wizard will allow you to continue. However, if this option is disabled, it is enough to select the destination connection (as was the case in previous builds) before the wizard will allow you to continue.
• [Wizards - Change data source / database] - Fixed issue with File DSN for ODBC connection destination, not being saved properly.
• [File - OPEN] - Added option in "TOOLS|OPTIONS - File" an option tset the default Open dialog. The choices are "File System Dialog", "Folders Dialog". Defaults t"File System Dialog"
• [TOOLS|OPTIONS - Viewer] - Fixed issue where even though "Display Viewer on Startup" was off, viewer was still displayed.
• [Wizards - Change data source / database] - Fixed "Verify Database" appearing each time and requiring you tclick on "OK" during processing.
• [Objects Pane - ALL TABS] - Fixed issue with improperly sorting date columns.
• [Objects Pane - ALL TABS] - Fixed checkbox selection on grouped rows. In certain cases, clicking the checkbox on some rows would not result in a selection.
• [File - SAVE] - Fixed issue in trial mode which would complain that the "SAVE LIMIT EXCEEDED", even if you have never saved before, and result in a non-save.
