actiTIME 1.52 is a time tracking software that includes intuitive and friendly interfaces. It is a tool of choice if you need a clear and simple way to register time expenses, analyze employee performance, prepare timesheets for billing your customers - actiTIME

actiTIME time tracking software can be installed under any operating system and works with MySQL and MS Access databases.

There are two actiTIME packages:

• actiTIME Basic(Freeware)
• • Freeware actiTIME server provides basic time collection and reporting functionality. If you don't know exactly which time management features you need, it is a good choice to start with this package.
  • There are no fees for using actiTIME Basic. So you can download and start using it right now.
• actiTIME Extended(Shareware)
• • actiTIME Extended Feature Packs provide you with additional time collection and reporting functionality and give more control over the collected information.

Major Features:

1. Time Entry.
   • You can enter hours worked for all days of the current or past weeks.
   • In addition to hours worked users can enter time off and sick leave and add comments to the time they enter. 
   • Sick leave and time off tracking is an actiTIME Extended Feature
   • Comments allow users to provide a specific description of their work progress or to share a task-status message with their colleagues.
   • Overtime is either calculated automatically or entered manually (depending on the settings of a particular user).
   • A user with 'Enter/Modify Time-Track of Other Users' access right can view, enter and modify time-track of other users.
2. Lock Entered Time from Modifications
   • You can lock users' time-track from modifications to be sure that billed and invoiced time will not change after selected date.
   • Such locking will help you avoid situations when users edit their time-track data after it has been:
   • • approved
     • used for billing
     • audited
   • To lock data from modification you just need to specify a "locking date". The system then locks the time-track period preceding this date for all users and for all Customers, Projects and Tasks.
   • When locking a period you can provide optional comments to the locking record up to 2000 characters long.
   • History of all locking records (including locking date, manager, and comments) is available for further review and audit.
   • You can re-open (unlock) the last locked time period if such a need arises.
3. Reporting. actiTIME provides a number of reports covering various business needs. These reports are:
   • Staff Output Report shows who, when, on which tasks, and how much time has reported. This report helps you monitor personal time expenses in everyday work.
   • 
     Billing Summary Report shows time expenses reported for different billing types. This report helps you monitor time expenses on billable and non-billable tasks as well as the distribution of billable time between the billing types.
   • Time-Track Comments Report provides you with more detailed information on the collected time expenses. In particular this report allows you to:
   • Generate reports with comments entered by users
     Choose from the extended data grouping options
   • Overtime Report
     shows overtime/undertime, time off, and sick leaves reported by users within the selected date range.
   • Each report has a set of configurable parameters like date range, employees, customers, projects and tasks to report on.
   • All reports can be exported to CSV format for further analysis.
     
4. Staff Output Report
   • Staff Output Report shows who, when, on which tasks, and how much time has reported.
   • This report presents users' hours worked, time off, and sick leaves in a compact and informative way. 
   • The report can be generated in the detailed or summary form. In the summary form the information about tasks is hidden and the report presents only summary data without task details.
   • Staff Output Report has a number of configurable parameters:

5. Billing Summary Report
   • Billing Summary Report shows time expenses reported for different billing types.
   • Similarly to Staff Output Report, Billing Summary Report may also be generated in the detailed or summary form.
   • You can choose how to calculate time expenses included into the report:
   • • By time reported for a date range
       By tasks completed within a date range
   • This allows you to create reports that correspond to the accounting procedures adopted in your company.
   • The configurable report parameters include:
   • • Report type
     • Level of details
     • Date range
     • Non-billable tasks processing options
     • Customers and projects to report on
6. Time-Track Comments Report
   • Time-Track Comments report provides you with the most detailed information on the collected hours worked.
   • It is the only actiTIME report that contains users' comments in printable form. The report helps you to:
   • • provide your customers with more information on the completed work;
     • get a more detailed view of your current workflow;
     • analyze your staff's time-track.
   • Time-Track Comments report offers you up to 3 levels of data grouping, whereas the rest of actiTIME reports offer only 2 grouping levels.
   • In particular, Time-Track Comments report allows you to group report data by users along with grouping by dates, customers, projects, and billing types.
   • Report parameters form allows you to preview structure of the report to be generated according to the selected grouping options.
7. Overtime Report
   • Overtime Report shows overtime/undertime, time off, and sick leave reported by actiTIME users within the selected date range.
   • Note: Sick leave and time off tracking is an actiTIME Extended feature 
   • With Overtime Report you can monitor overtime and/or undertime which is automatically calculated on a daily basis.
   • Report results can be grouped by users and by dates.
   • You can set the following report parameters:
   • • Staff to generate report on
     • Date range
     • Grouping options for report data
8. QuickBooks® Integration
   • actiTIME implements special Invoice Data report with time information structured for invoicing.
   • The report contains information on time spent on billable tasks for a certain customer.
   • With a couple of clicks you can generate the report, preview it in HTML format, and then save invoice data in the QuickBooks®-compatible format.
   • Then import data to QuickBooks® using actiTIME Invoice Importer
9. Other Features
   • Support of billable and non-billable task statuses. actiTIME supports both billable and non-billable task statuses. Non-billable tasks can be easily filtered off in billing reports and are not included into invoice data export.
   • Each billable task has a billing type assigned. These billing types can be customized by the user in accordance with the active accounting system.
   • Configurable start day of the week and date format 
     You can set any day of the week to be the first working day displayed by the system. It will allow you to configure in actiTIME the financial/reporting week adopted in your organization.
   • Adjustable work schedule. You can configure nonstandard working and non-working days with a mouse click.
   • The Work Schedule actiTIME interface allows you to view and configure working and non-working days for 5 months in a row simultaneously. Individual access rights management 
   • Access rights are managed individually for each actiTIME user. A set of granted rights defines the user's permission to access actiTIME interfaces and data.
   • Task completion with configurable completion date. Once the work on a task is finished you can mark this task as Completed.
   • The time-track reported for completed tasks cannot be modified. In addition, you will be able to make reports on tasks completed within a period of time.
   • Project and Customer Archives 
     Once the work on a certain project is completed you can archive it. You can also archive the customers if you are through working with them.
   • Archived Projects and Customers will be hidden in most of the system interfaces, however you will still be able to generate reports on them. 
10. .Installation Options. Both actiTIME Basic and actiTIME Extended are delivered in the following installation packages:
    • Auto-installation package for MS Windows
    • • This package provides completely automated installation procedure. It is recommended for those users who don't have any special demands for the installed web server (e.g. HTTPS support, basic authentication, integration with Apache or IIS web server).
      • The Auto-installation package includes all of the required software as well as the pre-configured web server and interactive installer.
    • Custom installation packages for MS Windows and Unix
    • • Custom installation package includes actiTIME web application and the scripts for database creating.
      • This package does not include third party software required by actiTIME and is intended for those users who need greater flexibility in actiTIME configuration than offered by Auto-installation package installer.
      • You can install actiTIME Extended over actiTIME Basic as well as on the computer where actiTIME has never been installed.
