Activity & Expense Tracker Workgroup Edition 5.7.9.2

This cross-platform personal information management system software tracks activities and expenses, time, for any number of products or projects, and generates reports and invoices for printing or exporting.
This version of Activity & Expense Tracker has a few special features that are not included in other versions and can be configured as either a Workgroup Administrator or Workgroup User. In order to use the Workgroup features, you should set up a directory on your file server for the depositing of A&E Tracker export files.
The Administrator configuration has an extra field which displays the users name, as well as the ability to add and delete projects and activities. In the User configuration, projects and activities cant be added, modified or deleted without a special password. It is almost always best for the administrator to create the project and activity names in order to produce accurate invoices and reports. Project and activity names can be eaisly exported and then imported into the Users programs.
Activity & Expense Tracker for Workgroups comes in two versions, the User version and the Administrator version.
There are only a few small differences between these versions. In the User version, no projects, activities or expenses can be added to A&E Tracker. This is so the Administrator can maintain control of the names of the projects, activities and expenses. This makes reporting much easier and more accurate. This limitation can be removed with a special password.
The Administrator has full ability to add projects, activities and expenses. After creating these lists, they can export a paetypes.txt file (which contains all this information), send it to all the users, who then import it into their User versions.
The Users then create records in A&E Tracker and periodically export the data to a text file which is then sent to the Administrator. The Administrator then imports all these files and generates invoices and reports.
In the Administrators version of the Workgroup edition, the End Date field is replaced with a User field. The name entered into the name field in the Register window is automatically entered into this field when a new record is created. The User does not see this field. No user names are entered in unregistered versions of the software.
The Administrator can switch back to the End Date field by clicking the End Date button (which then changes to a Show User button).
