AlphaOne was developed to serve the needs of small to medium-size travel businesses. It works for both travel agents and suppliers of travel. It was developed for one reason: After exhaustive searches and experimenting with many different types of software we couldnt find a single-program, simple, elegant, affordable solution to keep track of our customers information in this age of the Internet. In fact, we couldnt even find a multiple-program, complicated, inelegant solution at an affordable price. So, we made one.

What did we want to do?

We wanted a one-application system that would allow us to keep track of customers who had booked a holiday with us, or who had booked a holiday with us through another travel agency. We need a customer-to-agent as well as a business-to-business solution. We needed to know when customers were arriving, what activities or products the customer had bought from us, and an elegant, professional-looking invoicing system that didnt require hours of typing or retyping information. We wanted to be more efficient and we wanted our suppliers to be more efficient so that they could take better care of our clients.

Our products are offered on our website, but we wanted the website to be interactive to reduce confusion and the amount of communication that was necessary to make a sale. We wanted to do this seamlessly, integrating this with our booking form and schedules of trips. So we did that.
