AMSES Frame2D 2.0

Amses Frame2D is a structural engineering tool used to calculate internal forces, displacements and performs design of the elements. Many structures can be analyzed: planar frames, continuous beams, trusses, cantilevers, and so on. The design is an extra feature and is based on European building codes (Eurocode 2 - design of reinforced concrete structures and Eurocode 3 - design of steel structures).Internal forces and displacements are calculated using the finite element method. A graphical interface allows you to draw the structure, design load cases and actions, and calculate results within one single application. It supports true second order theory, solves simple problems quickly, has unlimited undo/redo capabilities, and has a unit conversion feature.Additionally, it allows you to design individual elements of the structure according to European standards Eurocode 2 (reinforced concrete) and Eurocode 3 (steel). The program was written from scratch, its user interface was planned very carefully with an end user in our minds.
