ImagesInfo Barcode Reader Toolkit is a component (ActiveX, DLL) for developers who need barcode reading or recognition features on Microsoft Windows.
The toolkit will intelligently recognize various barcodes from memory bitmap and image, including Code 39, Code 93, Code 128, Code 2 of 5 interleaved, Code 2 of 5 Industry (a.k.a Code 2 of 5 Standard), Code 11, Codabar, EAN-8, EAN-13, UPC-A, UPC-E. Supported image formats are TIFF, JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, WMF.
A full featured demostration is prepared for developer to evaluate and get familar with the toolkit.
Sample projects source codes in Visual Basic, Visual C++, Delphi are prepared for saving time to learn and integrate the toolkit.
Features
Decode commonly used linear barcodes
Read barcode from memory DIB (Device Independent Bitmap) or image files. Toolkit can directly load image file without additional image file read/write component.
Accept multiple barcodes in one page. Maximum number can reach as high as 999.
Search barcode in omni direction, Left to right, Right to left, Top to bottom, Bottom to Top, or Oblique.
Return information includes number of barcode, barcode string, barcode type, barcode direction, barcode boundary rectangle.
Adjustable toolkit options enable user to optimize reading procedure which will improve the performance in return.
Entirely written in C++.
