BulletProof Barcode Magic 3.1

BulletProof Barcode Magic 3.1  is an easy to use program to design barcodes for home, hobby and retail. After you choose a bar code style and font, insert text and numbers, a barcode will be automatically created. Then you can copy your new graphic into a Windows application, save it to file, or print it out for instant labeling.

Barcode Magic supports numeric formats like UPC, alphanumeric like Code 128, and even specialized Postnet formats. Whether managing a warehouse full of inventory, creating retail store price tags, or organizing home inventory, Barcode Magic supports the needed bar code standard. Latest software features include GUI enhancements and hotkeys for commonly used features, the specification of barcode measurement in mils (1/1000 of an inch) to comply with the industry standard for bar code measurement, improved auto size when printing to print the standard 10 mil size (except for POSTNET, which has a 23mil bar code size standard), and users can now toggle between metric and imperial measurements for rulers and grids.

Major Features:

1. UPC A & E with 2/5 digit-extensions
   • Widely used in the United States and Canada, the Universal Product Code (UPC) is a barcode symbology used for the tracking of retail-items in stores, inventory-control, pharmaceuticals and point-of-sale systems.
2. EAN 13, 8 and 128
   • The European Article Number (EAN) barcode standard is a superset of the original UPC-12 symbology and is used world-wide for the marking of retail-goods.
     
   • GS1-128 is the standard name for what was called the UCC/EAN-128, using a series of Application Identifiers to include additional data, such as best-before-dates, batch numbers, quantities, weights, etc.  
3. Interleaved 2 of 5
   • Used commerically on 135mm film and carton-shipped products, this symbology uses a continuous two-width encoding of digits.
4. Code 93, 128, 39 and 39-Ext
   • Code 93: Designed to provide higher density and data-security enhancements to Code 3 of 9, this barcode encodes alphanumeric and variable length symbology. Each symbol includes two check-characters.
   • Code 128: Very high-density symbology is the primary focus of Code 128 and is used extensively for the shipping/packaging industry world-wide. Used for either alphanumeric or numeric-only barcodes, all 128 characters of ASCII and be encoded.
   • Barcode 3 of 9 is a very easy to decode, self-checking barcode symbology that encodes uppercase letter (A..Z), numeric digits (0..9) and several special characters. Additionally a 1-character check-digit can be used to the side of the barcode, see example of (-).
   • In Barcode 3 of 9 Extended, the symbology has been extended to support the full 128 characters in the ASCII table to allow for a greater number of non-alphanumeric characters.
5. Postnet 5, 9 and 11
   • Primarily used by the United States Postal Service to assist in directing mail by encoding the ZIP Code or ZIP+4 into half and full-height bars.
