Catalog-CD 2.6

Catalog-CD is a CD/DVD publishing program for creating encrypted CD/DVD presentations. Send time-limited presentations, limited access presentations and dynamic presentations to your target markets. Catalog-CD is a multimedia tool which includes a database, shopping cart and CD/DVD publisher allowing you to incorporate your database-powered web sites. In addition, print catalogs designed in Adobe inDesign, Quark Xpress, and other print design programs, can be re-purposed into interactive CD/DVD catalogs and presentations.

All published files are encrypted and bundled with a portable server, enabling your customer to purchase by all traditional ways, plus over the Internet. A few of the file types supported are Acrobat PDF, PowerPoint, ASP, HTML, XML, XSL, DTD, CSS, Javascript, MS Access database(s) and other portable file formats, that support web links. Normally, many of these file types require a web server. The included portable "web server runtime" allows for these encrypted files to run as portable CD/DVD interactive presentations.

The CD-Site can include broadband displays, databases, remote database updating, email forms, surveys, calendars of events, chat and other interactive functions. The program includes everything you need to transact sales from a CD-ROM, including shipping and tax scripts, products database and even a browser module to view past orders. If your site is dynamic, the products database can even be time-triggered to update itself over the Internet to keep your products information current. This is a complete portable CD shopping cart system, which can have a very long life span
