Codabar Bar Code Font Set 2.3b description

: Print your own Codabar barcodes from Windows! This OpenType and PostScript bar code font set adds the ability to print barcodes to virtually any Windows program. Codabar was developed in 1972 and is used in libraries, blood banks, and some air parcel services. Codabar is a simple bar code, does not require a checksum, and lets you encode numbers (0-9), four letters (A-D), and a few special characters (-$:/.+). You start and end each barcode with a letter (A-D), (so to bar code 123 you could type: A123B).

This bar code set lets you print Codabar on your product packaging, shipping labels, or you can print sheets of labels with Codabar barcodes using our templates and your word processor. This barcode package includes both a standard, (just bar codes), and a human readable, (barcodes with text or numbers below), versions of Codabar. Each of these scalable bar code fonts comes in six different aspect ratios, so you can vary the height and width of the bars independent of each other. This lets you print barcodes with the same height, but with a different bar thickness.

Our software lets you print your own bar codes on your documents and packaging, or you can print sheets of labels with Codabar using our templates. Want to print bar codes in Access, Excel, or Word? We include VBA macro functions that do all the work for you. If you dont understand barcodes, just run the Codabar utility program (included in this package) to build bar codes for you. The download version includes a manual in Rich Text format compatible with any Windows word processor. The physical package comes on CD with a printed manual.
