Depeche View Pro 1.5.1

Depeche View Pro 1.5.1 is such an easy-to-use and effective software which helps you load, view and search all text of a directory tree in one window. Search a phrase just by clicking on it. Fly through results by the turn of your mousewheel. Copy text, and create bookmarks with the same ease. If you have to read through many small ASCII text files, e.g. source code, this tool allows text analysis at extreme speeds. 

For example, to search a word, forget about opening a dialogue, setting options, clicking through results lists to open one result file after another. No, just type the word - and land within the first matching line in the first matching file, instantly.

Then, if you see another word of interest, don't even type it - click on it! And again, you will land at the first match for this word, instantly, no matter in what file. Depeche View Pro is a Windows tools, but also runs on Linux systems having WINE installed. Depeche View Lite is free for private use, and runs without installation (portable executable).

Enhancements:

• CHG: USABILITY CHANGE: highlighting of words by DoubleControl or CONTROL+H: by default, all highlights are now GLOBAL, across all views, in the same color. This allows faster and easier text comparison than before. For the old behaviour, see Setup / General / local word highlights.
• CHG: USABILITY CHANGE: right click on the clip button no longer loads text, this is now done by a left click. a right click appends text.
• CHG: Clipboard Automation No Longer An Official Feature. By default, clipboard automation is now disabled, as long time tests have shown that the functionality can not be guaranteed. The feature can be reactivated by Setup / General / enable clipboard automation, but it may work or not, and is totally unsupported.
• CHG: Depeche View Pro now comes with an installer. add: assistance mode: top toolbar with back/forward, next/previous search result and filter button. add: statistics field in dashboard near next/previous search result buttons. shows detailed text infos on mouse over or click.
• DEL: removed easy settings button and documentation. if you still need it, shift+control+click on the statistics field next to next result.
• chg: find next search result in editor: if no more hits in current text, now continues to search globally across all selected files.  
• chg: improved layout with graphical separation of top lines.
• chg: assistance mode popup: click on bottom of file more than once now jumps over file starts.
• Fix: editor: save, stop edit buttons did not show tooltips on mouse over.
• Fix: sending a search into a view sometimes produced unexpected message "on bookmarks" with delay.
• Fix: many detail improvements in status text display.
• Fix: next or previous result by (ctrl+)f3 after ctrl+z or end edit did nothing.
• Fix: ctrl+z after filtered view creation did not jump back to text before search.
• Fix: no longer showing file list if there is only one file.
