ES DB Access 2.0 description
ES DB Access 2.0 is a Microsoft Excel Add-In designed for you to query a database from directly inside Microsoft Excel and display your query results in a cell in Excel.
This replaces the no longer supported "SQL.Request" Function in the "XLODBC.XLA" Add-In, which is not supported after Excel 2002.
The Database is requeried each time the spreadsheet is refreshed; this means your data is actually "live".
ES DataBase Access Add-In. Having trouble using ES Database Access? Remember you need to Add the Add-in to your Add-in Manager in Excel!
For Excel 2002 and 2003 follow these steps:

Open Excel and click the Tools Menu, then Add-Ins

Click the Automation... button
-
Find and select the ESSDBAccess.XLFunctions

Click OK
For Excel 2007 follow these steps:

Click the Office button
-
Click Excel Options
-
Click the Add-Ins tab
-
Click the Automation... button
-
Find and select ESSDBAccess.XLFunctions

Click OK
You should now be able to use the function!
