FileScan Tool Pro is a powerful workflow-management tool.
Main features:
- FileScan Tool Pro is a powerful workflow-management tool. You can create simple hotfolder and/or scheduled workflows or you can create complex workflows which use conditional branching. All workflows are executed by daemons which can run from the systemtray or as a service. The standard version has 10 separate daemons which each can run virtually unlimited workflows. The separate daemons ensure independant processing to balance your workflows. There is also a 20-daemon and 30-daemon version available.
- A powerful part of FST-Pro are the internal variables. These variables give you a wide range of information about the current file (when using a hotfolder workflow). Information like filename, filepath, filesize, fileowner etc. can be used in the scripts to direct the workflow. Beside these file-related variables there are also system-variables which give you information about the current workflow, date, time, system-information etc.
- Modular Design
- FST-Pro uses a modular design which allows for easy implementation of new functionality. Apart from a set of built-in functions, most functionality is made up of plugins which can be licensed separately. This way you can choose which functionality you want and only purchase a license for these particular plugins. If later you want to start using other plugins you can simply purchase additional licenses.
- Plugins
- An extensive plugin library is available. All plugins are included in the standard setup package. The plugins include functionality for (secure)FTP, sending and receiving of email, accessing databases, XML import and export, file handling, string-manipulation etc.
- Monitoring
- Detailed logging is a vital part of FST-Pro. Keep track of whats going on by using the LogViewer which gives realtime access to all logging. The Advanced Search option gives you the ability to track specific information across all daemons/workflows and will display the information in a chronological order. It also displays in an eays-to-use way which script commands have generated errors and which didnt and with one-click you can jump to the particular command in the workflow in question.
- Regular Expressions
- FST-Pro fully supports the use of regular-expressions. Use res to setup file-filters in hotfolder workflows, extract information from strings, filenames, etc.
- More Daemons
- There is also a 20- and 30-daemon version available for a small upgrade fee.

- updated plugin �CompressFile�; it turns out that the bracket-characters [] are not allowed in the name of the file which must be compressed. If the sourcefile now contains one of these characters an error is triggered and the compress will fail

- it is now possible to define multiple hotfolders for the same workflow. Each hotfolder will be scanned and executed with the same settings and the same workflow-script
- new option �Allow Locked Files� in hotfolder workflow-properties. If enabled, locked-files which would normally be considered �not stable� will now get processed
- new �Directory Trigger� option in hotfolder workflows which allows the workflow to only scan for (empty)directories and exclude files
- fixed problem in RemoveDirectory plugin which caused the plugin not to delete the specified directory but only it�s subdirectories
- fixed regular-expression matching problem in �KillProcess� plugin
- password-fields are now shown as {password} in the �Command Parameters� window.
