HandScribe Personal Edition is a software for nurses and allied health professionals to manage comprehensive patient information at the point of care. HandScribe is the modern alternative to chasing down and lugging around cumbersome paper charts.

Keep the chart in your pocket. HandScribe enables clinicians to track complete patient demographics, problems, interventions and evaluations. It is designed to facilitate the comprehensive documentation requirements of 24 hour nursing care.

User Interface:

The main patient list lets you organize patients by name, location, nurse or physician. Achieve even greater organization by creating categories for different types of patients. The user interface is intuitive: it uses the same features found in the native Palm OS applications. This provides a natural transition for existing Palm users and a gentle learning curve for new users; getting you up and running in minutes. Create new patient data from lists. Use tables and summaries to review data. Use forms to edit. HandScribe uses pop-up lists, check boxes and buttons to accelerate data entry.

1. Patient Demographics: name, medical record number, insurance, home contact, date of birth, automatic age calculation (with pediatric and geriatric support), height, weight, acuity, disposition and more

4. Collaborate: Share information with other clinicians; share patient summaries or beam complete patient records.
5. Downloadable Extensions: specialized charts, care plans, procedures and treatments.
6. Care Plans: record a diagnosis and associate planned interventions and desired outcomes with a care plan.
7. Notes: Orders, Labs, Current Medications, Vitals & Pain, Progress Notes: record as many and as often as need dictates.
