HSM Standard is a powerful software which utilizes a basic Inventory system that requires manual maintenance to deduct parts used. HSM Pro automatically deducts the parts used when every workorder is entered. We have also included an automated Inventory update routine that will do the math for you when adding inventory to the system. Simply click Add Inventory in any Part record, enter the number of items to add, and away you go.
HSM Pro is based on a single Work Order database instead of four, like HSM Standard. This format provides for a wider range of report options that can be included with the application.
Unlike many other programs (Accounting Programs, for instance) you are allowed to carry a negative balance in your parts database. This is to allow you to continue your workorder entry without having to stop and update your Inventory Database right then. The application simply records a negative number in the Quantity field in the Inventory Database, which will be corrected when you Add Inventory later.
There are five Parts Used slots in the workorder entry form that allow you to choose to add a new item to inventory directly from the workorder enty screen.
A more flexible navigation method that was removed from HSM Standard has been included in HSM Pro. You can search through records using Next and Previous controls.
The powerful "Find" feature is also in HSM Pro which allows you to search for records by text or any one of several Keys included in the database. This is the most flexible search function we have ever used, and makes navigation to desired records a breeze.
Keep track of Vendors and Vendor contact information. Email your primary contact directly from the Vendor Information screen with our built-in email client.
Track additional services charged to a room such as Dry Cleaning and Crib and Roll-Away Bed requests.
Print a charge sheet to keep in the guests folio for addition to the regular room charges at checkout time.
Keep track of Employees. Track individual employee time utilization and your costs by any specified time period.
HSM Pro includes a more useful and detailed Help file to guide you through the operation of the program.
