HotPotato Point of Sale 5 is an updated generation designed to run on Windows XP Pro or Windows Server 2003 it takes advantage of the latest technology. A wide range of features gives you the power you need in a simple easy to use format. HotPotato can be installed once and accessed by the Kitchen, Bar Areas, Registers, Drive Throughs, and handhelds. All this from one easy install.

Export reports and data in Excel, HTML, Word, Text and XML formats. All you need to do is install it on one machine and then access it through your local network With no additional software to install. HotPotato can be used by any wireless handheld connected to your network that has a Web browser. And it's so easy to use. Orders are sent directly to the kitchen, and alerts are sent to servers when orders are ready. Alerts can also be used to show when tables are cleared and ready for the next customer.

Requirements:

1. SERVER REQUIREMENTS
   
   • HotPotato Restaurant Point of Sale was designed to be installed on systems running Windows XP Pro, Windows 2000 Pro or Windows Server 2003. You must be running Microsoft's IIS (included with listed Operating Systems). See Client Requirements and Handheld requirements below for systems that can be used to access HotPotato in addition to the server.

   • Network Card
3. CLIENT REQUIREMENTS
   
   • HotPotato Restaurant Point of Sale can be accessed and managed from any system running a standard Web Browser.
   • That means you can use Windows 98-XP, Linux, Macintosh etc. for your client machines. We suggest Internet Explorer 6.0 or the latest release of FireFox to access HotPotato.

5. HANDHELD REQUIREMENTS
   
   • HotPotato Restaurant Point of Sale can be accessed by ANY Handheld device that has a wireless network card and a web browser. A good Pocket PC based unit running Internet Explorer. For print support  it is recommend PIE print for Pocket PCs.
