2. Your Security
   • Each Staffmember will receive their own unique Pincode
   • Each Staffmember will also  receive a access key, which allows access to only specific areas
   • Each Cashdrawer access is logged - system will inform management if security has been breeched
   • Powerdrive knows at any time the amount cash currently in cash-drawer
   • Item deletions after drinks and meals have been ordered from Bar or Kitchen, require pincode and are recorded for later reporting at the end of the business shift
   • Various function such as accepting payments, giving discounts etc. are protected with pincodes
3. Your Staff, Waiters, Chefs etc. features
   • Easy staff member set up form - Assign A pincode and access code to each staffmember which allows for complete log reports on each member
   • Includes complete staff pay(wages) reporting including Clock in and clock out. All staff currently clocked in are visible on the welcome screen
   • Powerdrive support waiters carry their own change and take cash payments from customers and at the end of their shift, a report will be issued showing how much cash the have to pay to the business owner

4. Your Menus and your stock
   • Powerdrive holds 97020 items, separated in 3 Menus, 21 Categories each, 44 item per category and 35 additional variations per item
   • When accessing the Menu on the Main POS working screen, all items are accessible NO SCROLLING NO SCREEN CHANGES
   • When selecting items you sell, then the most popular items you sell in each categories are highlighted for quicker locating
   • When adding,deleting or altering your items, then you will not be faced by an office like screen. Only by easy to understand colourful buttons.
   • Each item can include Name, price, up to two taxcodes, up to 7 different ingredients, up 35 modifiers and it own recipe
   • Recipes can be selected to be printed when an item is ordered (handy for cocktails) or displayed on the screen when the item is touched in the main pos area without having a table open
   • Menus can be given any name you prefer (ie. Dine in, Take away, Home Delivery)
   • Menu Categories/Departments can have any prefered name (ie. Beers, White Wine bottles, Main Meals, Desserts)
   • Each Menu Category can be assign the product type  - m= meals f=food and its own target printer (ie. Dessert  = Dessert Printer- all items in the dessert category will be printed to the dessert printer)
   • Prints Menus by itself
   • Includes complete stock control which can be turned on/off or drinks, meals or only for  a one category
   • Stock is the for your item you sell. Example: Bourbon & Coke = stock of - Bourbon and stock of coke gives complete stock statement reports - when stock came, when was some sold, ongoing qty balance allows stock with barcodes

5. Your Customers
   • Includes customer loyalty system, it allows you keep track of customers spending habits, details, birthdays,last visit, account balances, comment etc.

   • Enter any customer name or description to the bill , which will show on each order in bar or kitchen
   • Setup you required customer service intervals. if a customer/table has not purchase anything without that time period, then a warning triangle will appear that customer's table which indicates that service is required
   • Powerdrive comes with a world first and unique Automated Group Booking system (AGBS)
   • AGBS allows you to take bookings for any set cost per head booking|
   • • It keeps track of the booking dates
     • Ensures the balance is collected 7 days prior to date of the booking
     • Opens all tables by itself on the day of the booking, listing customer name, total cost, deposit paid and allows you continue the bill from there
6. Your Tables
   • Powerdrive comes with any easy table setup function, which allows you to prest up to 47 tables
   • Each table can be given any description you prefer
   • If a table description begins with CS - it indicates a CASH SALE table and Powerdrive will switch to Quick service mode for that table (handy for cafes or bars)
   • Powerdrive also allows you to create your own basic table plan
   • All tables carry colourful indicators = BLUE = occupied YELLOW = bill issued GREEN = bill paid containing a Warning Triangle = Service required Underlined = Table has been personalised with customer name on the bill
   • Customers can be moved from table to table with 3 clicks or touches
7. TAX
   • Powerdrive allows you preset an unlimited amount of tax codes
   • each Item you sell has their own taxcode
   • you sell item taxfree, including tax, adding tax to the items sale price and using a dual tax system
   • all tax you collect from your customers is recorded and can be viewed via a report
8. Splitting Bills/Checks
   • Splitting bills with powerdrive is very easy
   • All on in on screen - no switching between screens
   • Alick on item on bill - it appears on split bill
   • Alick on item on split- it is removed from split bill
9. Your Money
   • Start your morning by counting the float/starting money in the cash drawer
   • each sale is recorded, seperated by the type of payment
   • each time a staff is handling a pay or accessing the cashdrawer it is all recorded
   • Powerdrive knows at any time the amount currently in the cashdrawer
   • When money is taken out, put back into the cashdrawer it is all recorded
   • End the end of the business shift - once you have counted you total cash in the cashdrawer, powerdrive will supply with a very detailed report for all of the shifts transactions

11. Multiple Workstations
    • Powerdrive can be used on as many workstations as your Network allows

12. POS Hardware
    • Powerdrive allows each Menu department to have its own printer assigned to it
    • for example: The menu department DESSERT has the KITCHEN PRINTER assign to it
    • That means, that all items which are storesed in the DESSERT department will be printed to the KITCHEN PRINTER.
    • A 15" Touchscreen or larger is recommended
    • Any Computer using Windows XP pro or Windows Vista can be used
    • We recommend the use of Epson printers. Impact Receipt printer for the kitchen and the bar and Thermal Receipt Printer to print bills
    • Powerdrive comes with Epson Windows Receipt printer drivers
13. Reporting. Powerdrive comes with 70 different reports, which wil provide you with detailed information on the performance of your business.

Requirements:

1. Printers: any  Epson Receipt (serial or Centronics=Parallel) and any  A4 printer (inkjet or laser)
   • Ensure all printers are installed, visible in printers and faxes and
   • are able to correctly print a windows test page.
   • If a printer is connected to the serial port, then ensure that the port's flow control configuration is set to HARDWARE
   • When using a thermal printer, be aware, that heat will make the print result disappear.
   • Receipt printers must be connected to serial or parallel ports and your A4 printer to a USB port. Do not connect printers to your computers TCP/IP Port
2. Cashdrawer: Cash Drawer attached to receipt printer.
   
3. Screen/Monitors: 17 inch LED flat screen recommended. A Touch screen will be a great advantage. 
   
   • Computer: (POS system)Standard Pentium 4 with Windows XP Pro installed
   • min. of 1 serial, 1 parallel port and 2 USB port.
   • A mouse and keyboard.
   • Serial port can be used by a Touch screen sensor and a Receipt Printer. If the printer is located more then 5 meters from the computer then a serial cable is recommended.
   • Please Note: Espon requires a unique serial cable which has to be supplied by the supplier.
   • USB port will be occupied by a A4 printer
   • The parallel port can be used by a second receipt printer (ie Kitchen or Bar printer)
4. Barcode scanners can increase the speed for the stock control section. A Barcodes scanner connects between the computer and the Keyboard, ensure its setup to send a carriage return after the bar code has been scanned
5. A Swipe card reader can be used, it will fit between the Keyboard and the computer
