PowerForms 1.0
PowerForms 1.0 Ranking & Summary
PowerForms 1.0 description
PowerForms uses a simple, intuitive interface. All of your model presentation creation and filling takes place within Microsoft PowerPoint. Indicate the parts of the presentation that contain variable information. In minutes, youll have a standard presentation that can be used consistently throughout the office.
To fill in a presentation model, simply click the PowerForms icon on the PowerPoint toolbar. The program keeps all previously entered values, so you can select and reuse them with a single click. When you have entered all of the data, the presentation can be saved, printed, and treated like any other standard PowerPoint presentation.
Who Needs PowerForms : You do, if you've ever:
- Wanted to delegate updating a standard presentation to an assistant, but weren't convinced that it would be changed correctly
- Sent a presentation out with the wrong company's information or terms
- Wanted a better way to maintain your company's brochures, proposals and other presentation, but didn't want to take the time to install - and learn - yet another program
- Wanted to streamline and eliminate repetitive work
- Tried using "Replace" to maintain different versions of your important presentations
Major Benefits:
- Easy to learn, because you are using Microsoft PowerPoint for most of the work.
- Flexible and powerful, because you can use any PowerPoint presentation as a model presentation.
- Fast creation and filling of standard presentations.
Major Features:
- Any presentation can be used as a model that you can later customize
- Creating a model presentation is very easy. You start with any presentation and insert fields by placing their name between square brackets.
- To customize the values of the fields, use the spreadsheet-like interface of PowerForms.
- PowerForms will replace all fields with the entered values.
- Unprocessed slide
- For example, imagine a software company that wants to present their custom development services using a well polished PowerPoint presentation.
- On this standard presentation, fields like [Client], [References], [Team leader], [Hourly rate], etc. might be used.
- Using PowerForms, customizing the presentation for a prospect client, is a straight forward process:
-
- Open the model presentation.
- Click on the PowerForms toolbar button.
- Fill-in all fields included in the model, possibly using previously entered values from the Clips database.
- Click on the 'Process' button.
- PowerForms replaces all instances of your fields with the values entered.
- Clips database
- PowerForms keeps all values entered for a field in previous uses. If you use field names in a consistent way, you will soon find that filling presentations will be just a matter of selecting the correct value from a list.
- Traditionally, reusing information means using copy and paste from a previous presentation, ensuring that you paste it in all places where you should. PowerForms remembers all values entered previously, so reusing the information involves just a click and of course PowerForms takes care of placing it in all the appropriate places.
- Protection of presentation models
- Once you have created and tested a presentation model you will want to protect it so that it can't be modified by accident. PowerForms will protect, with a mouse click, the presentation model.
Enhancements: First released
