Praxis EMR 4

Praxis has always believed that the only way to develop a great Electronic Medical Record is to work closely with long-term physician-users, in order to constantly learn from everyday clinical life. No other EMR has such a close relationship with its physician clients. In many ways, Praxis users are co-developers of this truly physician-centric EMR having shared their ideas, feedback, and critiques over many years of design and development. The new Praxis EMR Version 4 is therefore dedicated to our wonderful customers worldwide, whose vision and foresight have guided us over nearly two decades.
Praxis EMR, founded in 1989 and originally released in 1991, has seen only three major version changes. This is in contrast to many template EMR systems who, having only started recently, are now marketed as “version 10” with standard features and rudimentary functionality.
As Praxis EMR has progressed and advanced over the years, it has done so with automatic updates, rather than announcing unnecessary version changes. Indeed, we are extremely proud of the fact that we have NOT been forced to constantly change versions. Doing so only disrupts our practicing clinics with largely marketing annoyances. Nevertheless, with new features of such momentous importance as those in the new Praxis 4, we feel that the version change is particularly appropriate.
Among many other new features, we are excited to present to you the Praxis EMR Knowledge Exchanger that we believe will transform Electronic Medical Records, as we all know them.
