This new version will include improved importing, integrated visual report builder which supplements the standard reports and report wizard, a few useful chart type reports, and more. In this next release the calls database structure is going to be changed slightly. In this version the time to solve will be calculated automatically. The refresh button on browse screens has been removed and network refreshing is now automatic and instantaneous. Like the Standard Edition of QUAD Help Desk, I am removing the mini http server with the next release. The site license price will also increase from $299 to $349 when the new version is available for download.
The latest available version of QUAD Help Desk Pro Edition is now 3.15. This may be the last version upgrade for QUAD Help Desk Pro Edition until late this year. Version upgrades are released as a result of suggestions or requests received from registered users, and are also driven by sales demand. I welcome email from registered users, and potential customers, with suggestions or recommendations.
* Easy to use, includes user logins, passwords and procedure security that you can define.
* Mini-http server is ideal for use on a Local Area Network to let users submit support requests via browser. Techs can also use the browser to view and edit requests (but unlike the windows app, the browser interface does not use logins)
* Add calls by reading your Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express Inbox from within the program.
* If you need the windows interface to be in a different language, you can translate most screen, report and menu labels just by editing a text file with notepad
* Like all my help desk programs, multiple staff members can access the same database without additional per user charges.
