QueryCell 1.2 description

QueryCell 1.2 brings you a plug-in for Microsoft Excel which enables you to query excel data using SQL within the Excel application itself. Save time by using SQL to Join regions of data. Use Group By, Min, Max and Avg on Excel Data. Generate test data easily. SQL Insert Statements for Excel data in seconds.

Major Features:

  1. Query data on multiple worksheets and multiple workbooks in a single SQL query
  2. Supports custom tables allowing you to specify column data types and names
  3. SQL statement formater / indenter built in
  4. Store useful SQL statements in a SQL template library
  5. Easy to Install and easy to Uninstall.

Enhancements:

  • Added the SQL Generator.
  • Added additional Ribbon Icons for Excel 2007.
  • Single click of seperator splitter bars minimizes regions grid and sql template library.
  • Run SQL button moved to above rather than below SQL edit (more vertical room).
  • Help changed from button to menu, Help menu contains 'Open Help', 'Open Tutorial' and 'About' options.
  • Added 'Save Regions With xls File' checkbox , when checked information about the defined regions will be saved in a worksheet called '--QC--'. These regions will be automatically reloaded into the regions grid when the file is next loaded.
  • The refresh regions icon now only applies to non custom regions in the current workbook.
