Rainlendar Pro 2.5 Build 80 Beta / 2.5 Build 72 is an effective calendar tool that allows you to easily use and doesn't take much space on your desktop.

The application is platform independent so you can run it both on Windows and on Linux. The appearance can be customized with skins and you can even mix different skins together.
It is possible to use Rainlendar with other calendar applications too. Rainlendar uses the standard iCalendar format to store its events and tasks so you can easily transfer them between applications.
You can also subscribe to online calendars and see your Outlook appointments directly in Rainlendar.

1. Platform independent
   • Rainlendar can be run on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. All platforms use the same file formats so all skins and scripts created for different versions will work also on all.

   • Rainlendar supports localization so you can have the user interface in your own language. Rainlendar is an Unicode application so different character sets can be used at the same time.

   • It's also possible to combine different skins by using e.g. the calendar from one skin and event and to do list from another. The events and tasks can have different appearance depending on their category.

   • It is possible to have multiple months visible at the same time. The months can be laid out the way you want and they can even have different sizes.
6. Multiple Calendars
   • You can have any number of calendars show at the same time. Different calendars can show e.g. holidays, tv programs, your personal events or what ever you like.

   • Events and tasks can be transferred to and from other calendar applications. You can also import the data from the old version of Rainlendar.

   • In addition to normal events Rainlendar includes a separate to do list where you can store your ongoing tasks.

   • Get notified in advance before the event is due so that you don't forget any important events. The alarm works with tasks too.
10. Recurrence
    • The events and tasks can be made to repeat automatically so you don't have to enter them multiple times. It's also possible to have exceptions in case the event doesn't happen on one particular day.

    • Lua scripting language makes it possible to extend the functionality of Rainlendar.
12. Backups
    • Integrated backup and restore functionality makes it easy to make sure your events safe if something bad happens.
13. Printing
    • Print your events and tasks as a separate list or as a month view.

    • If you have a lot of events and tasks you can find the one you are looking for easily with the substring search in the Manager dialog.
15. Shared calendars
    • Subscribe to online calendars to stay up to date with the current events. You can also publish your own calendar online.
16. Outlook support
    • See the Microsoft Outlook's appointments in Rainlendar without the need to keep Outlook open all the time.
17. Google Calendar support
    • Edit your Google calendar events directly with Rainlendar. It works also when you are not connected.

Enhancements:

• Its now possible to use math _expression_s in the _xml_ format skins in attributes which have integers as the type.
• Added possibility to define width for each character in a bitmap font. The bitmap font can be used most places as normal fonts.
• Increased the Rainlendar_ShowMenu() index range to 10000. It can now also contain submenus.
• Added a copygroup item for the _xml_ skins which duplicates the items it contains. The position of the items can change in each copy.
• Added possibility to rotate the bitmap elements as they are loaded.
• New calendar windows for Shadow4: Grid Calendar, Vertical Line Calendar and Horizontal Line Calendar.
• The tooltip shouldnt open anymore over other applications.
• Recurring Outlook appointments with multiple exceptions were not always shown correctly. Fixed.
• The Rainlendars data stored as a Remember The Milks notes was sometimes multiplied. Fixed.
• Added showmonth attribute for the time element.
