The Rename-O-matic 2000 is a simplefile naming utility. It is can perform two types of renaming tasks: Filter Renaming and Batch Renaming
1) Filter Rename:The filter option allows you to convert a single character (A) in the name of file to another character (B) or delete that character (A) from the files name. You can only enter a single character at a time except for blank spaces which can be represented as spc
2) Batch Rename:This feature allows you select several files and give them a common name plus a incremented number. * if a files extention is less than 1 character or more than 4 it will be changed to .ukn
tips / notes:
-if a file is locked and cant be renamed it wont be - and you wont get an error.
-the copy process takes much longer than the rename process - the more files, the longer it takes.
-the default directory is the directory the program is in.
