Calculate the performance of process steam turbines using Steam Turbine Calculations!


Using this program, accurately calculate:

  • Turbine inlet and exhaust properties
  • Turbine efficiency
  • Theoretical and actual steam rates
  • Turbine power, or,
  • Turbine steam consumption
  • Inlet and exhaust steam superheat


    Steam Turbine Calculations uses the same accurate steam tables as our other popular product, Process Ace Steam Properties. The program calculates the thermodynamic properties of steam for pressures between 0.08865 and 2398.45 psia (0.0061 and 165.37 Bar) and temperatures between 32.022 and 1472 F (0.01 and 800 C).

    Options include the ability to select between entering the turbine exhaust temperature to calculate efficiency or entering efficiency to calculate exhaust temperature. Also, there are three unit sets to choose from (Bar/C, kPa/C, psia/F).

    INSTALLATION

    To run the program you must HotSync MathLib, NSBRuntime, NSBSystemLib, STEAM and the main program file to RAM on your handheld (not to a card).
