T37FSP 2.2.3

The T37FSP is a useful program that provides native Windows Fax Service / Windows Fax Printer integration with 3rd party Internet Fax Service Providers or devices that offer email-to-fax gateway.
More technically, the T37FSP is a driver for Windows Fax Service, capable of sending a fax via email (store-and-forward facsimile with off-ramp gateway). It follows the T.37 protocol (as described in ITU-T Recommendation T.37 and ITU-T Recommendation F.185), except that the Windows Fax Service generates class F TIFF files (MMR compression), and the T.37 specifications require profile S TIFF files (subset of TIFF-F), but most commercial T.37 fax machines (Internet-aware fax machines) can handle TIFF-F.
To support inbound faxes, T37FSP can interface with the drop directory of the local SMTP service.
Inbound faxes routing extension to forward received faxes to an appropriate email address based on called fax number (utilising DID, Direct Inward Dialing) is currently under development.
T37FSP can be considered as an alternative to the Cisco Unity IP Fax Service (Unitys faxmail feature), bringing the advantage of Windows Fax Service integration.
