Tax Assistant for Excel 2007 4.1a

This application is a custom application written for Microsoft Excel and requires Microsoft Excel 97/2000 or Office 97/2000. It simplifies your Federal Income Tax preparation by providing Excel workbooks with IRS approved substitute forms for both Form 1040 and Form 1040A along with the most commonly used Schedules and worksheets. Your sources of income and deductions are entered on separate worksheets. The data from these worksheets is then automatically entered into the correct forms. Tax Assistant for Excel helps you determine whether to itemize deductions and provides a computerized record of your tax filing. In addition to new support for Form 1040A and the Capital Gain Tax worksheet, Tax Assistant for Excel has improved instructions, guidance and tips for completing your Federal Income Tax Return. The trial version will remain fully functional for 15 days and the expiration can be removed with the registration passkey provided upon registering the program. Entering the registration passkey will also revive the program after the 15 day trial period has expired.The forms provided in Tax Assistant for Excel are accurate reproductions of the actual forms and IRS approval is pending. We do not expect any problems with approval of the forms and we will post notification on our web site home page immediately upon receiving the IRS approval. We apologize for the inconvenience but the IRS has taken an inordinate amount of time to review the forms. While the program will help you with your tax preparation, it does require that the user also follows some IRS instructions in order to accurately complete their tax return. If you do not feel comfortable preparing your own taxes, you should purchase a full featured tax preparation software package or hire a professional to do it for you.
