Total Assistant 2.6.0

Total Assistant 2.6.0 provides translators and others a useful utility to produce word, character or line counts for one or more files. Many file formats are handled, including Word, Acrobat PDF, HTML, PowerPoint, Excel, plain Text, RTF and more.

Files can be simply dragged and dropped from Windows Explorer or added from the Total Assistant file menu. Multiple files can be added at a time, making it very fast to get a total count for many files.

Total Assistant includes the text not included in Microsoft produced File Properties. For example, Microsoft ignores text boxes in Word and PowerPoint ignores the text in inserted Word tables or Excel worksheets.

The summary details produced by Total Assistant show the counts for each file plus the total of all files. This summary can be pasted to the clipboard and then copied into emails, spreadsheets and other documents.
