ttls Tape and Tax Calculator 4.3

ttls Tape and Tax Calculator is an arithmetic calculator that will allow you to calculate taxes linked to a scrolling tape.
The design allows for flexibility in use of the mouse and keyboard keys. For example the Enter key on the keyboard links automatically with the calculators Equal or Calculate Tax buttons. Also many functions link to helpful short-cut keys. You can use them when you want to switch quickly to ttls Tape and Tape Calculator or to increase the space on your desktop.

Main features:
- Quickly switching between arithmetic and tax modes. When in the tax mode it automatically caters for both arithmetic and tax calculations while providing for a tax calculation to be carried forward in to an arithmetic calculation.
- A memory (with its own display panel, buttons and short-cut keys) that remains available whether the calculator is in an arithmetic or tax mode.
- Automatically changing the number of columns in the tape to suit either the arithmetical mode or number of taxes existing in the tax mode.
- A tax mode can cater for one or two or three different tax types each of which may have a different tax rate. For instance tax combinations like GST and PST, or VAT and WHT, or just one tax like GST, or HST, or Sales Tax, or Tax on Interst, or VAT, or WHT.
- 109 examples drawn from more than 50 countries that provide a guide for users on various types of tax setting.
- Quick access to up to 20 different user defined tax settings. Any of these stored settings can be changed for temporary use or replaced with different tax settings. For example set the calculator for special categories of VAT with or without another tax.
- Changes easily the basis on which a tax calculation is made.
- Previewing a complete tape before printing it with page numbers
- Export the tape as an HTML page for viewing in a browser or for opening in Microsoft Word or Excel 2003.

- Apportionment has been increased by the addition of three column selection options. These options enable a user to set the basis for an apportionment not only to any row that appears in the calculator, but to a panel in a row that insects with the selected column. While these enhancements may not be of relevance for many users, the extra selection options, however, provide the ability to reconstruct an apportionment computation from any one point in an apportionment. Administrators, auditors, forensic accountants and others might find this useful.
