Visual Importer Enterprise 7.7.1.9 is a powerful tool to automate the process of loading data into any database. It enables the user to design Import, Export and SQL scripts, add them to the package and schedule it for execution on regular basis. It stores all information in the repository. Supported repository types include MS Access (default repository), Oracle, MS SQL Server, Interbase, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.

Unlike DTS, SSIS and Oracle Warehouse builder  Visual Importer Enterprise can send and receive emails and process attachments as well. All FTP operations also supported. Typically Visual Importer Enterprise is used to download files from an FTP server, load them into the database, run stored procedure or SQL script and send email to the admin, once the package is completed. Unlike Oracle SQL loader, BCP, DTS or SSIS, Visual Importer Enterprise can also add new and update old records based on the primary key.

The program can load data into Oracle 7-10g database, SQL server 7- 2005, any ODBC compliant database.

Every package execution is logged. In case of errors, Visual Importer writes a detailed message into the log and writes a record into the rejected records file.

The Enterprise version includes execution agent which can be run as a Windows service.
