Weather Addin for Outlook 1.1

Have you ever bought tickets to your favorite sporting event only to check the weather three days before the game and realize that it will probably be rained out? Wouldn’t it be more reasonable to check the weather without thinking while you’re planning which day to buy the tickets?

Weather Addin is a useful add-in that works only with Microsoft Outlook which gives you the weather forecasts as appointments in your Outlook calendar. Just set the zip code and number of forecast days you want to retrieve and you’ll never have to remember to check the web for weather again.

The Weather Addin for Outlook automates retrieval of weather data and loading it into your calendar in a few simple steps.

Setup - Upon loading the addin, click on to configure the Weather Addin for Outlook.

Settings- 5 digit zip code - The zip code to retrieve weather for

Include details in message body - This option includes additional details such as wind speed into the appointment body

Load Weather on Outlook startup - This option automatically querys and loads refreshed data on Outlook start-up.

Number of days to forecast - The number of days to check the forecast for.

Loading Weather data - When is pressed or on Outlook load, our weather database is contacted. The plugin retrieves the appropriate weather information for the specified zip code and creates Outlook appointments.
