The word-search feature is a very powerful aid in solving crosswords, allowing you to match words and phrases against a given criteria e.g. find all 12-letter words where the 2nd letter is A and the 7th letter is R.

The anagram generator is one of the most powerful and sophisticated ever developed. You can if required tell it how long each word in the result should be. For example, it will quickly return all anagrams for "every cent paid me" which consist of a 7-letter followed by an 8-letter word e.g. "payment received". Or you can just list all anagrams for a set of words, often with amusing results - try it on your name and see.
