Main features:
- Operate on a stand-alone computer / Laptop AND on a local/Networked computer system, can be used by multiple users. Contains more database maintenance facilities. Improved report compiler. (Please note, this application will be required to be installed on each computer requiring its use. The database file can be placed centrally if required).
- Calculate all staff members average working week over a fixed rolling period of 17 weeks (the reference period). A graphical system has been adopted for ease.
- Calculate staff members’ daily rest periods between shifts. These are subsequently recorded in the staff members individual database file.
- Identify and warn the user when staff have breached their daily rest period. Compensatory rest can therefore be added and recorded.
- Warn managers that their staff members are approaching their average 48 hours weekly limit. A warning will also be given when staff have reached or exceeded their 48 hour weekly limit. The warning is colour coded for ease.
- Record whether staff have taken Rest Days in accordance with the Working Time Regulations.
- Allocate a small database file to each staff member listed within the application. This file collates their working week - history file. This history file can be examined by way of report.
- Allow staff members information (Transfer & Record) files to be transferred from one computer to another if necessary. This is useful if staff move departments or offices and is essential for the continuity of a members working time record.
- Remind managers as to whether in-work rest breaks have been taken and if they have not will be recorded.
- Allow the user to use a ‘Shortcut Bar’ (buttons) when inputting daily shifts for quickness. These shifts can be setup independent of your organisation.
- Allow the user / Administrator to view an audit trail of entries. The audit trail can also be searched for a particular staff member or string entry. Their diary of events displayed in report form.
- Allow the user to print varying reports. These reports can also be attached to emails as simple text files or html files.
- Allow many staff members or users to be added to the system.
- Simple database maintenance can be carried out by appointed Administrators. When records reach over two years old, they can be deleted easily as per regulations and to conserve hard-drive space.
- Added facility to check and download updates for one year FREE.
