AOL Webmail Archiver is a software utility that will save AOL mail locally as EML or MSG files. It extracts email from an OutlookMAPI account setup to download AOL email.
The generated messages can be used with an email indexing product such as dtSearch, copied to CDs/DVDs for general archiving purposes, used in EDD processing for litigation discovery purposes, used to migrate messages to an alternate local e-mail or webmail service, or just saved as insurance against data loss at the webmail service.
