BBS Monitor is a powerful web page monitor & tracing utility. It automatically visits and explores interested web pages for you, detect any change or new content, find new topic and new reply which you may care - such things are usually done manually.
BBS Monitor periodically checks web pages for new changes, and displays the changes with a real-time pop-up window. Once somebody post a new topic or reply, it will be brought to you within several seconds. This application can save a lot of your time because you will no longer need to browse for the webpages and frequently refresh your browser.
How to use?
- Download and install BBS Monitor.
- Open your interested web page in Internet Explorer.
- Right-click in blank area just beside your interested content, and then select "Add to BBS Monitor".
- Youll see a pop-up window, specify a name for this monitor task, press "save", and minimize BBS Monitor window.
- Back to work! You may close internet browser windows as your wish, they are not needed any more. BBS Monitor will bring new topics and new changes to you.
You may specify keywords filter for each monitor task: If any keyword can be found within new change of interested web pages, the change is brought to you; if not, the change is ignored. So if you are only interested with someones new topics, you may specify his / her forum name as interested keywords.
