What is texSMS?
texSMS is a free software which easily and seamlessly installs itself (or "plugs") into Microsoft Outlook to allow sending of SMS messages from your PC desktop. The texSMS software works with all versions of Outlook, from Win95 to WinXP.
What does texSMS do?
texSMS allows you to generate SMS messages for personal, business, bulk and corporate use directly from Microsoft Outlook, in exactly the same way as one would generate and send regular emails. Better still ... replies to any SMSs generated through texSMS are delivered back to your email inbox, as well as also optionally forwarded to your own cellphone, giving you full bi-directional SMS interaction from your desktop.
texSMS further allows you to automatically integrate and SMS-enable your Outlook calendar - so that tasks and reminders are sent to your mobile phone as scheduled SMS messages. Even when youre away from your computer, youre still in touch - like having a 24x7 secretary in your pocket!
You can also send personalised bulk SMSs using texSMSs quick and easy bulk SMS interface. It is highly configurable and can use CSV, Excel and text files, or distribution lists, as data sources.
User Account Management
texSMS has a simple yet comprehensive web-based management interface that launches seamlessly straight from Outlook. This allows total user control and management for any size account, from a single user to a large corporation. Enhanced control features include user groupings, message delivery logs and daily and monthly SMS limits.
