Clonk Rage 4.9.9.5 offers users an interesting game of strategy, tactics, and skill. It can be played by a single player, with up to four players on one computer, or any number of players in local networks or by internet.

The game is played in rounds in which each player controls his hardy crew of clonks in realtime in order to either mine resources and build up a base or eliminate the opponents crew. Run-time generated or predefined two-dimensional landscapes feature everything from hills, mountains, lakes, deserts, arctic wastelands to volcanic rocks, islands floating in mid-air or suboceanic terrain. This guarantees a neverending variety of playing scenarios. Experience changing weather conditions with rain, snow, thunderstorms, as well as tectonics and animal activity. Build new structures using materials you have created in complex production chains. Extend your base and prepare for battle by developing new weapons and tactics.

There is an almost unlimited number of options to customize the game. Experienced players can create their own scenarios and set individual game goals to create new mission objectives.

The main focus of Clonk Rage is on the new fullscreen menu for player management and scenario selection which comes in proper gaming style and transitions smoothly into the actual game worlds. Players new to Clonk will find a completely reworked mode of control much closer to the principles of well known Jump'n'Run games.

The network code has been completely rewritten and now allows considerably faster internet play while still supporting the physically demanding landscape simulation of Clonk. This is complemented by numerous additional networking features such as a lobby, chat, and a new league server.

Clonk Rage is the first Clonk game to be released simultaneously for the Windows, Linux, and Macintosh platforms.
