It is based around the increasingly popular sport of paintball and your job is to ensure that they have all the resources and tactical ability that the team needs to meet this goal. You can buy new gear, sell it, upgrade & modify it, gamble, invest in the sharemarket, and watch the action unfold before you on-field with paint spray and weather effects.

Get to know your team members. Find out how popular they are with the rest of the team...discover how they are performing... set their training goals, equip them with the best gear available, and then customize that gear to meet your player or team requirements. You can even listen to what they are saying in the club-house. Your team members are what makes your team work, so treat them well and train them well, and you'll find they will perform admirably!

Equip your players with the finest paintball gear that money can buy, and then tell them what you want them to do on-field! Choose their starting positions, and try to determine what the opposition is likely to do. Match their training, abilities, and gear, to the job that you want them to do during the game. Check out what your opposition team have arranged, and counter it as best you can!
Watch the action unfold on the screen in front of you as the game commences. With paint spray and weather effects, you can watch your players as they hit their cover, tag out their targets, and dash for a flag grab or hang! Use the data gained here to try to determine what further training or gear your players may need.

Choose between playing on a tournament style airball field, or in the woods for recreational woodsball play...each environment with its own set of tactical advantages and disadvantages... each with weather and terrain effects... and each with an appropriate graphical setup so that you can really get to grips with what is happening on-screen. After the game, you can choose to view a tactical step-by-step debriefing to see who did what and why.

Paintball Manager Extreme uses a complex behind-the-scenes set of mathematical formulae to try to bring you an authentic feel of real tournament paintball using realistic rules and realistic paintball gear.
