WinDoKu 1.0

WinDoKu is a challenging puzzle game which originates from Japan (with the name Sudoku). The goal is to fill the board with the digits 1-9 making sure that every digit only occurs once in every row, once in every column and once in every sub-matrix (made up of 3 x 3 squares). Sounds easy, but puzzles can be really hard to solve.

With this Windows application you can play as often as you like. You dont need to wait for tomorrows newspaper to arrive with a new puzzle and you wont have to buy those expensive books filled with puzzles. Play directly on your computer or generate a game and print it. WinDoKu can also print a batch of games.

WinDoKu can generate unique puzzles in four different levels of difficulty and each generated puzzle is guaranteed to have only one solution. You can also create your own puzzle, maybe by copying one from your local newspaper, and play or let the computer solve the puzzle for you if you get stuck. The number of solved puzzles on each level is saved between games so you can always see how many puzzles you have solved.
