- Selecting artwork and working in Outline mode is faster.
- Optimized internally to take advantage of the Macintosh G4 Velocity Engine and Intel Pentium III processors Streaming SIMD Extensions.
- Scratch disk use is minimized.
- Exporting files to SVG format is faster.
Improved File Integrity
- The window shade issue is resolved.
- Groups included in compound paths round-trip when saved as PDF 1.3 and 1.4.
- Vertically scaled text now exports correctly to SVG.
- The Euro character now displays and prints correctly.
Improved Stability
- The Sangam2Mapper plug-in no longer causes freezes when launching.
- iMode rasterization settings now appear in the Save for Web dialog.
- Force Fonts to Download option now works correctly with EFI Fiery RIPs in Japan.
Photoshop 6 compatibility plug-ins
