The plugin appears in the toolbox (and not the filter menu) - it appears in the lower half of the toolbox with a zigzag icon. To use the plugin, select and drag across document to design the zigzag
Two lists are displayed on the main zigzag toolbox dialog. Select either the same zigzag or select different zigzag types (two). The created zigzag will be made up of zigzag design 1 followed by design 2 followed by design 1 alternating up to the number of groupings of zigzag elements selected
The plugin comes with a huge range of random elements, one of the easiest to use is the randomization of the zigzag type, creating a totally weird randomized zigzag design (millions of possible designs are possible), these are great for border designs and more
The zigzags can be used as a basic path but they can always be converted into 3D designs or a scribble or blurred by simply applying a graphic style to the zigzag design.
Use the zigzags as a source for brushes. Simply generate the zigzag and drag into the brush palette and set to artistic and apply as a brush stroke as required
The zigzag plugin also comes with an inbuilt randomization of envelopes, so even using the basic design, the zigzag can be further extended into millions of variant warped and wonderful zigzag designs. The envelope needs to be expanded up upon exit or you can further manipulate the warping
The zigzag can be a single continious design or it can be broken into single separate paths that can be individually colored and re-designs
The plugin can be created as a single zigzag path created within the space of your mouse drag but by selecting the repeats option and modifying the mirror and spacing and other options, the paths can take the form of a background design or motion blurs and more
Double click the toolbox icon to display the options for the zigzag tool or press return, spread over multiple dialogs with the first couple of dialogs with the basic zigzag options for ease of use
