DesignCAD 3D MAX is the most powerful DesignCAD release ever. It is a rapid and easy learning application, simple to use and AutoCAD 2005 DWG compatible.

Booleans
- New underlying CAD drawing and modeling engine. Allows for more complex 3D objects to be created.
Nested Groups
- The ability to place one group inside of another; exploding back to individual groups.

- The Running Snap Settings allows the user to turn Running Snaps on or off, and toggle the usage of individual running snap modes. Optional snap modes are: GravitySnap, LineSnap, MidpointSnap, InteractionSnap, TangentSnap

Modified Dimension Commands
- Dimension Commands now allow the user to indicate a units multiplier, making it possible to dimension in some unit other than the drawings base unit.
DWG/DXF Compatibility
- Work with files from popular CAD programs like AutoCAD, TurboCAD and IntelliCAD. DesignCAD 3D MAX now supports DXF/DWG file import and export through AutoCAD 2005.
